Summer Camp Adventures

The Oldham Era, July 2004

Swimming, sports, camping and rifle shooting are just some of the fun that the Boy Scouts of Troop 153 enjoyed this year at Summer Camp. Fifteen scouts and nine adults attended Camp Crooked Creek the week of June 27-July 3. The boys enjoyed working on nearly 70 merit badges, while the adults had fun rappelling, playing softball and winning the annual golf tournament (using only homemade equipment). The troop is sponsored by the Centerfield Church, 4200 S. Hwy 393.
