Local Scouts Enjoy Whitewater Adventure

Boy Scouts of Troop 153, Centerfield, experienced the thrill of whitewater rafting on the New River in West Virginia on August 4th and 5th. Eleven Scouts and six adults participated in the event, which also included rock climbing and repelling. Eight of the scouts earned the Whitewater Merit Badge. Troop 153 is sponsored by the Centerfield Church, 4200 S. Hwy 393.
