Thank you for visiting our website. Troop 153 is proud to be one of the most exciting young troops in the Oldham County area. Take a look around and you will see some of the great things we have going on at Centerfield!
Our Vision

The scouts of Troop 153 will grow to the point where we can truly operate as a boy-run unit, within the patrol system, to reach the aims of Scouting.
What do Boy Scouts do?

The easy answer is the obvious. We camp, hike, cook, canoe, climb and do just about any other form of outdoor adventure you can imagine. We also provide service to our community and try to help young boys develop into young men through adventure and by giving them the opportunity to lead. Do you want more proof? Check out this year's annual plan brochure. Our calendar is also up-to-date with the troop's activities.
Highlights of this past year include camping in a cave, a great week at summer camp, a Class V whitewater adventure in West Virginia, and a backpacking trip to the Red River Gorge.

Find out more about "Flags Over Oldham", our effort to place a United States Flag at all the residences of Oldham County. This exciting service project/fund raiser is a partnership between Troop 153 and the LaGrange Rotary Club.
